Medical Select demonstrates ways to keep pension wealth for generations
•
Seminars are being scheduled for June and July for Colchester, Newmarket and Milton Keynes and possibly the Royal Society of Medicine, London

Departmental Seminars: Introduction to Investment
MEDICALselect has sponsored many programmes of extra-curricular education for junior doctors since 2001 as part of its commitment to the medical professions and to supplement career studies.
The programme for 2011 continues with a presentation which is designed to help the less experienced investor understand
• the importance and mastery of debt management,
• tax-efficient savings and
• the relationship between risk and reward.

Clinics in the Mess
As junior doctors are constantly at the mercy of bleeps, a number have asked us to provide more flexible times to discuss financial issues with them on a one to one basis. We shall be available in 20 hospitals at a regular time on a monthly basis as agreed with Mess Committees.
We are also offering a little light relief by way of occasional Mess Quiz Nights which will feature four teams on a knockout basis competing for ‘staggeringly wonderful’ prizes. They will face questions based on general knowledge, medical matters (provided by their consultants) and financial wisdom!
