How We Work - The Planning Sequence The basis of Personal Financial Planning is a partnership between you and your financial adviser which progresses step by step through gathering information and refining your goals to the design of a financial plan. This will be unique to you and will be flexible to adapt to you as your life changes. Step One – Exploratory meeting Before we can advise you we need to record your financial circumstances: your income, expenditure, assets and liabilities Step Two – Orientation meeting Arguably, the most important stage: assessing your attitude to risk, discussing and setting your goals which will shape the financial plan Step Three – Research and design Working within budget, we design an individually tailored financial plan for you to achieve your goals, using the whole of the market to give you best value for money and fitness for purpose.  Step Four – Implementation meeting We then present our recommendations to you for your personal financial plan and with your agreement these are put in place.  Step Five – Report and analysis Our comprehensive report for you summarises your circumstances, objectives and our recommendations to record why the financial plan meets your needs, all in clear language avoiding jargon. Step Six - Review We carry out reviews at regular intervals to suit you to ensure your financial plan is doing what was intended and making sure it stays on track.
